Product Operation Instructions

1.Operating temperature is 130℃.The surface of the material should be dry and clean without oil. Sometimes glued objects should be roughening.

2.Place the film onto the object. Heat it to above the melting temperature, press it properly, tear off the release paper, heat it to above the melting temperature, then stack the other bonding surface, press it properly, and cure instantly in cooling to complete the bonding.

 

Application

Here's how you can apply it effectively:

 

Surface Preparation: Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean, dry, and free from any contaminants like dust, grease, or oil. Proper surface preparation is crucial for achieving strong and durable bonds.

 

Selection of Adhesive Film: Choose a hot melt adhesive film specifically designed for bonding polyurethane foam materials. The adhesive film should have properties compatible with the foam material and the application requirements, such as temperature resistance, flexibility, and bond strength.

 

Cutting and Sizing: Cut the adhesive film into appropriate sizes and shapes according to the dimensions of the bonding surfaces. Make sure the adhesive film covers the entire bonding area evenly.

 

Heat Activation: Hot melt adhesive films are activated by heat. Use a heat source, such as a hot press or heat gun, to melt the adhesive film evenly across the bonding surface. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations regarding temperature and heating time to ensure proper activation of the adhesive.

 

Assembly: Once the adhesive film is molten, quickly place the polyurethane foam materials onto the bonding surface. Apply pressure evenly to ensure good contact between the foam and the adhesive film. You can use a roller or press to apply pressure uniformly.

 

Cooling and Curing: Allow the assembly to cool and the adhesive to solidify and cure. The cooling time will depend on the adhesive properties and environmental conditions. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for curing time and temperature.

 

Testing: After the bonding process is complete, test the bond strength to ensure it meets the required specifications. Perform mechanical tests or adhesion tests to verify the integrity of the bond.

 

Finishing: Once the bond is confirmed to be strong and durable, you can proceed with any further finishing or processing steps required for your application.

 

Storage condition

Store in cool and dry condition.
